Salsa Macha is a tasty dinner table staple in the seafood loving Mexican state of Veracruz. We began making it for ourselves and soon we were putting it on absolutely everything! You could say it’s habit forming.

Our regular Macha Chili Oil has a kick, my Great Aunt Maxine would have made a face for sure. But the Spicy Macha Chili Oil, made with Chiles de Arbol is spicy spicy.

We cook a blend of dried ancho, puya, pasilla, and morita chiles, almonds, pepitas, garlic, and herbs in rapeseed oil, then add the tang of apple cider vinegar, to make a concoction that tastes amazing on practically anything.
