Suddenly, we’re in the outdoor goods industry…
This is just to say that we’ll be at Canoecopia in Madison this weekend (Friday—Sunday). You’ll find us in booth C1, which sounds like it might be easy to find. Canoecopia is by far the largest gathering of kayakers, canoers, and paddle enthusiasts in the area, if not the world. They say world, and while I have absolutely no reason to doubt them, how could anyone be sure? There will be presentations, clinics, and an entire arena’s worth of businesses and organizations presenting their wares, ideas, missions, etc. to the public. While there’s a focus on paddlesports, our understanding is that there is quite a lot of spillover into other outdoor pursuits. We’re excited to show people what we’ve been working on. While we’ve spent much of the winter reaching out to outdoor retailers and outfitters, this will be our first excursion into the Outdoor Space, so we’re excited! If you happen to be there, we would love to meet you.
